Description

The intent of this Department of Energy, National Energy Technology Laboratory Funding Opportunity Announcement is to select and award projects in Fiscal Year 2014 that focus on improving the environmental performance of shale gas, tight oil, and tight gas resource development. This can be achieved by mitigating issues related to water usage and air emissions, and by developing technological solutions that enable effective resource recovery from fewer and less environmentally-impactful wells.
