Description

The principal purpose of the proposed project is to restore watershed function and wildlife habitat within the Sheboygan River Area of Concern, a portion of the Sheboygan River that has been determined to be severely impaired by historic pollution, urbanization, and habitat degradation. The public will benefit from this project by having a restored fishery, reduced risk from contaminated fish, and enhanced recreational opportunity in the Sheboygan River.
