Purpose of Program: The Centers for Independent Living program provides support for planning, conducting, administering, and evaluating centers for independent living (centers) that comply with the standards and assurances in section 725 of part C of title VII of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended (Act), consistent with the design included in the State plan for establishing a statewide network of centers. Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance (CFDA) Number: 84.132A. Applications for grants under the Centers for Independent Living Program, CFDA number 84.132A, must be submitted electronically using the Governmentwide Grants.gov Apply site at www.Grants.gov. Through this site, you will be able to download a copy of the application package, complete it offline, and then upload and submit your application. You may not email an electronic copy of a grant application to us. You may access the electronic grant application for the Centers for Independent Living competition at www.Grants.gov.
