Description

This project will address ecological relationships and processes of endangered San Joaquin kit foxes inhabiting the CPNM. Specifically, demographic and ecological attributes of kit foxes will be quantified in this important core population area. Activities conducted during an agreement will depend on funds available each year. At a minimum, the proportional use of food items by kit foxes will be examined in 3 areas of the CPNM: Elkhorn-Panorama Hills Subregion, and grazed and ungrazed areas in the Carrizo Plain-Central Subregion.
