The Bureau of East Asian and Pacific Affairs (EAP) and the Global Partnership Initiative (S/GPI) of the U.S. Department of State are pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards to further public-private partnerships on technology entrepreneurship in the Lower Mekong sub-region (Burma, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam). Pending availability of funds, EAP and S/GPI anticipate providing up to $198,000 in the current fiscal year through one or more cooperative agreements in this field, with a period of performance of approximately 24 months. Funding is available for projects that support high-growth entrepreneurs and improve startup ecosystems in the Lower Mekong sub-region. Proposals should address two or more of the following priority program areas:1. Entrepreneurial Education and Skills Development2. Accelerate and Sustain Businesses3. Ecosystem Development and Partnership Building4. Promote Mentoring
