The NIH Research Education Program (R25) supports research education activities in the mission areas of the NIH.The goal of this NHLBI R25 program is to support educational activities that complement and/or enhance the training of a workforce to meet the nations biomedical, behavioral and clinical research needs.To this end, this funding opportunity announcement encourages the development of creative educational activities with an integrated focus onCourses for Skills Development and Research Experiences. This initiative will maximize the scientific value of established research resources by providing an opportunity to acquire advanced targeted scientific tools for the enhancement of a career in the field of blood research. Graduate students, medical students, postdoctoral fellows and early career faculty, are all eligible and hereafter referred to as participants.
