ArchivedAnimal and Plant Health Inspection Service
Description
In an effort to enhance the sample types and test platforms available for African Swine Fever (ASF), Classic Swine Fever (CSF) and Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) diagnostics, Veterinary Services (VS) hopes to partner with United States Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) faculty and students working jointly with international institutions or organizations to collect and submit positive samples from affected countries to the Foreign Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory (FADDL). These samples will be used for validation of current test platforms being developed. The applicants should be working with countries that are already reporting to the Organization International Epizootics (OIE), as necessary.
