Description

For this program announcement (PAR), occupational health and safety (OH) surveillance is defined as the ascertainment and tracking of work-related injuries, illnesses, hazards, or exposures. OH surveillance includes population/group- and case-based approaches and activities with the goal of identifying state priorities and to guide efforts to improve and protect worker safety and health; monitor statistical and other trends and progress over time; and the develop prevention intervention recommendations.
