Description
The US Department of State's Bureau of Counterterrorism (CT) announces a Request for Applications from organizations interested in submitting proposals to support the Global Community Engagement and Resilience Fund. GCERF's mission is to build stronger, more resilient local communities in areas at risk of violent extremism. CT invites not-for-profit, non-governmental organizations and educational institutions to submit applications to develop and manage capacity-building assistance to local, community-based organizations implementing Countering Violent Extremism (CVE)-focused projects in countries such as Bangladesh, Indonesia,Kenya, Mali, Morocco, Nigeria and Pakistan.

- Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
- Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
- Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
- Private institutions of higher education
- For-profit organizations other than small businesses
