Description

Funding will be provided to develop a habitat suitability model and restoration plan for lake sturgeon in the Green Bay, Lake Michigan. Applicants should be familiar with the development of habitat suitability models and how to incorporate this work into restoration plans for endangered species. The intended recipient of this award is the University of Wisconsin Green Bay. The award will be given to this recipient without competition as a result of location near the study site, technical expertise, and knowledge of system. The Service will be responsible for the following: Providing technical assistance during the data collection process and reviewing and editing restoration plans developed as a result of this work.
