Description

This is a continuation of two existing projects (L09AC15910 and L09AC15892) with the State of Alaska, Department of Fish & Game (ADF&G). These two projects are being consolidated to for more efficient use of resources. The projects are to continue monitoring of wildlife conducted through Challenge Cost Share (CCS) program. A match of non-federal funds by the receipient is required. Specifically L09AC15892, is for monitoring wildlife populations and habitat in the White Mountains Natural Resource Area (NRA) and the Steese Natural Conservation Area (NCA). Whereas L09AC15910, is for monitoring the population and harvest of the Fortymile Caribou Herd (FCH).
