Description
The Office of Press and Public Diplomacy of the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs (SCA) of the U.S. Department of State announces an open competition for a cooperative agreement to administer the Short-term Professional Study Tour Program (SPST). This program seeks to build mutual understanding between the United States and other countries in South and Central Asia through carefully designed short-term visits to the United States for current and emerging foreign leaders. The countries of South and Central Asia are: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan. This program reflects and supports the foreign policy goals of the United States.
