The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) in Kenya is to support expansion of a sustainable national blood service by improving blood collection, testing, processing and universal access. Specific objectives include: • Improve regular voluntary blood collection to ensure universal access of safe blood in all counties • Ensure a safe blood supply through quality blood processing and testing for TTIs • Improve component production and appropriate clinical use of blood • Ensure self-dependency and sustainability of blood transfusion services in Kenya
