Description
The purpose of this funding opportunity announcement (FOA) in Zambia is to strengthen the capacity of the Ministry of Community Development Mother and Child Health (MCDMCH) to provide program leadership, coordination and supportive supervision at District, Facility and community levels for various Primary Health Care Services including HIV and MNCH related programs.• To reduce the national MTCT rate from 12% to less than 2% by 2020• Increased national MC prevalence from baseline of 17% to at least 80% by 2020• To reduce TB related mortality among HIV infected patients from 5% to less than 2% by 2020• Increase the number of people in the general population who are tested for HIV from 13% to 70% by 2020
