Conservation education and mentorship program

Description
This award will enable student scholars to continue to work and study in fields that promote the conservation of fish and wildlife and their habitats. The project will provide underrepresented minority students with an opportunity prepare themselves for mission critical occupations including conservation related fields. Selected scholars will be required to major in either a College of Agriculture Science or College of Forestry degree. Identified student scholars will receive financial assistance, attend national conferences that focus on conservation-related topics and receive mentorship from professionals in the field of conservation.
