Description

DRL announces an open call for statements of interest focused on human rights and democracy principles for North Koreans (organizations may request up to $250,000). Projects may also engage on non-traditional human rights issues that are of broad concern to North Korean citizens. All SOIs should include activities that support recommendations from the Commission of Inquiry on North Korea and/or the Universal Periodic Review.

Who can apply

• Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
• Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
• Nonprofits without 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
• Private institutions of higher education
• For-profit organizations other than small businesses
