Description

Purpose:The purpose of this FOA is to: 1) determine the effectiveness of a stepped care approach toreducing depression symptomology and increasing treatment rates among pregnant and postpartumwomen; 2) determine the feasibility of implementing a stepped care approach to depression treatmentin obstetric clinics; and 3) develop recommendations for implementing best practice strategies forincorporating a stepped-care approach in obstetric clinics. Results of this FOA may inform nationalguidelines regarding depression care for pregnant and postpartum women.
