Description

Through the Native American CDFI Assistance Program, the CDFI Fund provides Financial Assistance and Technical Assistance grants to Native CDFIs; and Technical Assistance grants to entities that will become or will create a Native CDFI. For more detailed information, please refer to the Notice of Funds Availability found on the CDFI Fund's website. Due to the fact that the CDFI Fund’s FY 2015 appropriation includes a waiver of the matching funds requirement for entities applying for FA awards through the NACA Program, the Healthy Food Financing Initiative, and the SECA component of the CDFI Program, the CDFI Fund is providing an additional 45-day application submission window for any eligible organization that did not submit a SECA component or NACA Program FA application by the original application deadline of November 24, 2014 and SECA and NACA FA applicants that submitted applications by the original application deadline of November 24, 2014 have the option to update their award request information based on the waiver of the matching funds requirement.
