Administration for Community Living

Description

Technical Assistance (TA) projects funded under Title IV, Section 420(a)(2) of the OAA, as amended in 2006 (P.L. 109-365), are intended to support demonstration projects to expand or improve the delivery of legal assistance to older individuals with social or economic needs. ACL is requesting applications under this FOA to provide Senior Legal Helplines (SLHs), and the aging/disability and legal networks involved in the Model Approaches demonstration projects, with the TA necessary to achieve the successful implementation of project goals and objectives. ACL plans to award two (2) cooperative agreements to organizations that will provide TA to SLHs and ACL’s Model Approaches (Phases I & II) demonstration grants. ACL plans to make awards to 2 separate organizations, with each organization assuming project responsibilities under one of the 2 funding priorities. Applicants under this FOA may apply under only one priority.
