The Public Affairs Section (PAS) of the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan is pleased to announce an open competition for assistance awards for Programming for Women’s Dormitories at Herat University. PAS intends to issue an award for a period of 24 months (base period) with an option for an additional 12 month period (option year one). Providing essential supplementary training at the dormitory will make good use of the women's ample leisure time, boost their self-confidence and self-efficacy, and help improve academic performance. This project will improve the English language and computer skills of 400 Afghan women.
