Description
DISASTER RELIEF ACT FUNDS - The National Wetlands Research Center (NWRC) of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU parnter for research that advances the development of radar and optical remote sensing techniques and their integration for mapping and monitoring vegetated ecosystems, particularly in response to mapping flood inundation, toxic spills, and canopy-structure changes. Although this research will focus on the northern coastal resources, the expected technology advances will have direct implications to global remote sensing of all terrestrial ecosystems.
