Description

The purpose of this project is improving regular collaboration, communication, and exchange of information between Field Epidemiology Training Programs (FETPs) to further enhance the development and strengthening in the use of applied epidemiology, maintaining sustainable public health capacity to improve use of epidemiology, the investigation of infectious and non-infectious health problems, health surveillance systems, applied economics, communications science, and resource management. Collaboration and communication reinforces best practices in applied epidemiology, training, surveillance and response, and introduces new tools, concepts, and training materials. Information exchange and networking of public health institutions, Ministries of Health (MOHs) and other health agencies across countries is essential in controlling public health problems globally. We are seeking partners to continue building upon and expanding work initiated and completed under FOA GH10-1006.
