Description
The Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP) is soliciting applications from organizations to distribute funds (Funds Distribution Program “FDP”) to established, federally recognized Pesticide Safety Education Programs (PSEPs). Funds will be distributed for fiscal years (FY) 2015 through FY 2019. Eligible to apply are: states, U.S. territories or possessions, federally recognized Indian tribal governments and Native American Organizations, public and private universities and colleges, hospitals, laboratories, other public or private nonprofit institutions, and local governments. Under this program OPP will provide financial assistance on an annual basis to the recipient to distribute funds to PSEPs. In turn, PSEPs will use the funds to carry out the education and training of persons seeking to become certified pesticide applicators or to maintain existing pesticide applicator certification.
