This FOA is modified to extend the application due date to Friday, July 17, 2015. Note: This announcement has been changed from Fiscal Year 2016 to Fiscal Year 2015. The estimated post date and estimated application due date have changed and are much earlier than originally announced. Through this announcement, the Administration for Children and Families solicits applications from public or private non-profit organizations, including community-based and faith-based organizations, or for-profit organizations that seek to provide a high-quality, comprehensive birth-to-five program incorporating both Head Start and Early Head Start funding, or to provide for Head Start only or Early Head Start only, to children and families residing in the City of Asheville, the Town of Woodfin, and the Communities of Emma, and Johnston, North Carolina. Funds in the amount of $1,052,937 annually will be available to provide Head Start and/or Early Head Start program services to eligible children and their families.
