Description
The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Counterterrorism (CT) announces a Request for Applications from organizations interested in submitting proposals for a project that works to support the U.S. Government objectives to develop a soundly regulated financial sector in Somalia operating in a professional manner and consistent with international standards. Towards this goal, efforts should be directed at assisting the Central Bank of Somalia (CBS) to implement proper financial sector supervision procedures and develop a soundly regulated banking system as a starting point toward building a well-functioning financial system that effectively intermediates finance through a range of financial institutions and markets.
