Description
Objectives of SGI SWAT 2.0 will include: ���Maintaining specialized human skill sets at critical geographic ���pinch points��� to secure SGI benefits. ���Maintaining science capacity to better focus SGI implementation, assess biological outcomes, and continually improve program delivery. ���Maintaining and enhancing outreach and communication strategies to increase partner buy-in and SGI participation from landowners. ���Expanding the SGI partnership to further leverage NRCS contributions resulting in increased outcomes and participation. ���Increasing the understanding and promoting the benefits of sage grouse conservation to the sagebrush steppe ecosystem and sagebrush obligate species. ���Fully deploying the SGI SWAT model to conservation of the sagebrush steppe ecosystem.
