THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to to The Orianne Society. A single source award will be used because: The Orianne Society has studied the Eastern Indigo Snake since 1992, and have conducted numerous studies in Georgia and Florida pertinent to the species��� status and conservation, spatial ecology, survey methods, reintroduction methods, genetics, prey habits, and distribution, among other research topics.
