Description

NSWC Crane is interested in funding research of a long-term, stable, and reliable nuclear power cell and nuclear energy system (power cells stacked together). This proposed research is to further advance research to deliver a steady, scalable, geo-independent, long-lasting energy supply for a wide range of distributed power applications and capable of delivering approximately 15-Watts of constant power. The Period of Performance for this grant will be 1 year and the maximum award amount is $80,000. The amount of resources made available to this BAA will depend on the quality of the proposals received and the availability of funds. The BAA will contain additional information along with instructions for proposal preparation and submission. Proposals must be received through grants.gov no later than 14:00 Eastern Time on Thursday, 1 Oct 2015. Number CRNBAA16-002
