Description
The purposed of this project is to update the 1D and 2D features of the entire Matanuska-Susitna (Mat-Su) Basin, which is 25,250 square miles in south-central Alaska; an area approximately the combined size of Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts. A consortium of agencies and NGOs, including USGS, The Nature Conservancy, US Fish and Wildlife Service and Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota (SMUMN) have come together to fund and accomplish the project.
