The CDC Prevention Epicenters Program has been established to develop, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of epidemiologically-based strategies to improve healthcare quality and patient safety. This funding opportunity announcement is designed to utilize the CDC Prevention Epicenters Program to translate basic, epidemiologic and technologic discoveries into new strategies for improving prevention of HAIs, Antimicrobial resistance (AR) and other adverse events in all types of healthcare facilities in the United States.
