Description
The United States Agency for International Development in Bangladesh (USAID/Bangladesh) is seeking Concept Papers from qualified US and non-US organizations and Bangladeshi Disabled People’s Organizations (DPOs) registered with the NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB) to propose innovative and effective approaches to apply for FY15 disability funding to: ̵ Increase the participation of people with disabilities in USAID programs/activities, and ̵ Strengthen the capacity and leadership of civil society organizations run by and for people with disabilities; herein referred to as Disabled People’s Organizations (DPOs)Projects may be stand-alone, targeted programs to benefit persons with disabilities, or they can be projects/activities that seek to mainstream persons with disabilities within larger USAID/Bangladesh programs.The deadline for submission of the concept papers is February 08, 2016. Concept papers must be submitted electronically to Fatema Zil-e-Resalat, Acquisition and Assistance Specialist at fresalat@usaid.gov and Patricia Siaso, Agreement Officer at tsiaso@usaid.gov
