Legal Education Support Program for Pakistan

Archived

Bureau of International Narcotics-Law Enforcement

Description

Pakistan’s criminal justice system needs improvement in accessibility, resources, institutional integrity, legal frameworks, and prosecutorial and judiciary skills. The system is handicapped by a lack of practical abilities, many of which stem from an inadequate legal education system. INL intends to assist in the development of training and educational programs for law students in Pakistan to improve their basic legal skills and prepare them to investigate and prosecute crime, corruption, and terrorism.
