Description

Notice of Intent to award a cooperative agreement to the State of Alaska, Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys for volcano hazard assessments; geophysical monitoring; geologic mapping of volcanoes; geochemical characterization of erupted products (including ash) through major and trace element analyses; electron microprobe analyses of glass and mineral components; maintenance of the public and internal web site of AVO; and archiving and distribution of geochemical data to all AVO partners.
