“An organization may submit only one proposal under this program solicitation.” “This Cooperative Agreement will begin no earlier than August 1, 2016, and end on February 28, 2017.” Description The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is at the forefront of a national initiative to support arts and health in the military. The NEA Military Healing Arts Partnership (Partnership) supports creative art therapies and arts engagement activities to help the nation’s wounded, ill, and injured service members and their families in their processes of recovery, reintegration, or transition to civilian life.

  • Special district governments
  • Independent school districts
  • Public and State controlled institutions of higher education
  • Native American tribal governments (Federally recognized)
  • Nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status (other than higher education)
  • Private institutions of higher education
