Description
The purpose of this modification is to change the response due date to 11:59pm ET on September 30, 2016. The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) intends to issue, on behalf of the Wind and Water Power Technologies Office, a Request for Information (RFI). This RFI is soliciting feedback from industry, academia, research laboratories, government agencies, and other stakeholders on how the Marine and Hydrokinetic (MHK) Program strategy that looks ahead from present through the next 20 years can be most impactful to the nation. EERE is specifically interested in information on core challenges and approaches DOE has proposed to achieve MHK commercialization in the US. This is solely a request for information and not a Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA). EERE is not accepting applications. The complete RFI can be viewed on the EERE Exchange website - https://eere-exchange.energy.gov
