Description
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Treatment (CSAT), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), and Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP), announce the availability of supplemental funding to enable grantees funded under the Minority AIDS Initiative Continuum of Care (MAI-CoC) program to expand/enhance grant activities required under the Request for Application (RFA), TI-14-013. The MAI-CoC: SSP supplemental grants will allow awardees to establish and/or enhance their current substance use and mental health treatment services programs, prevention and HIV and hepatitis medical services, to existing syringe services programs (SSPs). Information on the MAI-CoC program may be found in the original RFA available on the SAMHSA website at http://media.samhsa.gov/Grants/archives.aspx . This program is being funded by the Secretary’s Minority AIDS Initiative Fund (SMAIF).
