This Program Announcement provides the vehicle for the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program (ANSEP), University of Alaska, Anchorage to submit proposals to the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) for funding in Fiscal Year 2016 Through this cooperative agreement, training and learning opportunities will be provided to young people in order to develop the next generation of lifelong conservation stewards.The BSEE is authorized via the PLCA to award cooperative agreements to any qualified youth or conservation corps to perform appropriate conservation projects.This cooperative agreement involves substantial government involvement via a collaborative effort between the Recipient and BSEE.The Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program, University of Alaska, Anchorage may submit an application. The specific project identified is intended for the university identified. Collaborative efforts (cooperation between university campuses) are encouraged.
