Description

Thin leaved peavine, Lathyrus holochlorus, is a species in decline that is in danger of being listed as endangered under the Endangered Species Act. A long term study has resulted in the location and assessment of existing populations. Seed from these populations has been collected, grown, and successfully planted out. The objective of this agreement is to continue to study the Thin leaved peavine, Lathyrus holochlorus, in order to ensure species survival. This will include maintaining thin-leaved peavine seed, increasing the size of the populations at protected sites, monitoring the success of previous reintroduction efforts, and to assess the overall improvement in habitat, and submitting periodic reports.
