Description
The USGS Wetland and Aquatic Research Center, Gainesville, Florida, is offering a funding opportunity to a CESU partner for research in the development of a common framework to model survival, reproductive and movement rates of sea turtles, Gulf sturgeon, and manatees in the northern Gulf of Mexico. Development of environmental and climate indices at appropriate spatial and temporal scales are necessary for retrospective demography analyses to establish baseline population parameter estimates as a reference for future restoration. WARC is seeking the climate and weather expertise to develop those indices.
