Description

This FOA will support strengthening health service delivery - particularly comprehensive HIV prevention, care and treatment - for key and high priority populations in Ethiopia. Priority activities will include the provision of sexually transmitted infection (STI) screening and treatment, HIV counseling & testing (HCT), provision of anti-retroviral therapy, TB screening and treatment and integration of these into reproductive health services for key populations – primarily female sex workers (FSWs) – and priority populations including clients of FSWs in major urban towns/hot spot areas of Ethiopia. Prevention of mother to child transmission of HIV (PMTCT) activities will contribute to the national goal to eliminate MTCT of HIV and HIV prevention services will be provided as part of the package of gender-based violence care. The monitoring and evaluation system will provide behavioral and biomedical sentinel surveillance data and monitor program performance.
