Description
This project will address the following objectives from the National Seed Strategy:Action 2.2.1 Conduct seed germination studies and develop seed testing protocols for key restoration species;Action 2.2.2 Develop storage guidelines for restoration species to improve maintenance of seed viability;Action 2.2.3 Develop species-specific protocols for seed and seedling production practices that maintain genetic diversity;To further the conservation and/or recovery of Penstemon debilis by investigating techniques for growing the plant and understand how it might be transplanted into its native habitat.
