Description

The Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation (LCTHF) goes back to 1964 Public Law 88-630, the creation of the Lewis and Clark Trail Commission. The collection of records and historic documents are owned and managed be the LCTHF. As the propriety caretaker of this collection there is no other organization that has the access or the understanding of these records to allow them to work on this project. No other organization has a comparable collection. The Foundation also has the 50 plus years of experience with these records and the Lewis and Clark trail and expedition history.
