Description
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to issue a Single Source Grant Agreement Award without competition to the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) to sponsor LULAC’s 2016 National Convention and Exposition. This sponsorship will enable the Service to raise awareness of the positive impacts of outdoors recreation among Hispanics and Latinos, and promote access to and enjoyment of federal lands and waters for outdoor recreation use; develop targeted engagement between LULAC chapters and FWS facilities throughout the nation, particularly in urban areas; and help build a cadre of young Hispanics and Latinos seeking careers in wildlife conservation, including biological sciences.
