Description

The purpose of these funds is to award grants for eligible positive train control (PTC) projects. The funding available under this solicitation, $197.01 million, is authorized by section 3028 of the Fixing America's Surface Transportation (FAST) Act (Public Law No. 114-94), and subject to the availability of appropriated funds. Projects eligible under this NOFO must help install PTC systems required under 49 U.S.C. 20157.
