Centers for Disease Control - CGH

Description

The goal of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Caribbean Regional Office (CDC CRO) is to reduce HIV transmission in the Caribbean region. This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) will provide resources to strengthen the capacity of the Government of Suriname to address gaps in the continuum of HIV prevention, care and treatment (Co PCT). Specifically, it will support prevention efforts among key populations, focusing on early diagnosis, linkage to, and retention in care and increasing anti-retroviral coverage amongst eligible PLHIV. It will also support initiation of “Test and Start” as a priority. Funding will be used to further strengthen national laboratory systems and services and continue to build strategic information capacity. Emphasis will be placed on the collection, analysis, and use of data to identify and implement interventions while monitoring progress towards achieving targets, including the UNAIDS 90-90-90.
