Cooperative Agreement P13AC00749 was entered into by and between the Department of the Interior, National Park Service (hereafter referred to as NPS) and CyArk to undertake digital preservation of nationally significant sites, including National Historic Landmarks, in the Intermountain Region of the National Park Service, to make that information available to the general public on the CyArk website, and to provide a range of cooperative activities to assist in the documentation, preservation, and interpretation of these sites. CyArk will participate in the NPS Founderâ¿¿s Day Celebration at National Mall and Memorial Parks on August 27, 2016 and will showcase the information that has been collected from parks, including National Mall and Memorial Parks. Unless otherwise specified herein, the terms and conditions as stated in the Cooperative Agreement will apply to this Task Agreement. Founded in 2003 as a non-profit organization, CyArkâ¿¿s mission is to use digital technologies to preserve and share historic sites for the purposes of conservation, education, and widespread, free public dissemination of the information. CyArk is the global leader in this field, and has digitally preserved over 120 heritage sites worldwide, including Mt. Rushmore, Angkor, Pompeii, Tikal, and Babylon.
