Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to make a sole source award to of a cooperative agreement to The National Audubon Society. Funding for this project is provided under the Fish and Wildlife Act of 1956, as amended, 16 U.S.C. 742 a -754, and the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Act, 16 U.S.C. 2901-2911. The National Audubon Society was selected to receive this award based on its unique qualifications, in its association with qualified work and to the extensive working relationships with shorebird partners throughout the Eastern United States. Through their Seas and Shores programs which spans from Maine to Florida, are the sole entity that has such expertise and contacts through their state and individual chapters.
