Description

The RTRP Concept Award mechanism was first offered in FY15. Since then, 28 Concept Award applications have been received, and 7 have been recommended for funding. The intent of the RTRP Concept Award is to support the exploration of a highly innovative new concept or untested theory that addresses an important problem relevant to reconstructive transplantation. The Concept Award is not intended to support a logical progression of an already established research project, but instead, supports high-risk studies that have the potential to reveal entirely new avenues for investigation. Young/early career independent investigators are encouraged to apply.
