ArchivedBureau of Reclamation
Description
In 2012, Reclamation and Trout Unlimited – Washington Water Project (TU-WWP) entered into Cooperative Agreement No. R12AC10006 for the purpose of funding projects that will lead to stream habitat improvements within the Sub-basin which will benefit anadromous fisheries. Benefits include, but are not limited to: improved access to spawning and rearing habitat; reduced entrainment; increased streamflow; improved fish passage; and improved habitat quantity and quality for native endangered fish species including spring chinook salmon, steelhead trout, and bull trout. Reclamation has received a request from TU-WWP for additional funding and a one year extension to this Agreement.
