THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD TO A SINGLE SOURCE, AND THERE IS NO FULL ANNOUNCEMENT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS NOTICE. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) intends to award a cooperative agreement to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and the cooperating U.S. Geological Survey Virginia Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit assess detection probability metrics relative to needs associated with the revised Endangered Indiana bat (Myotis sodalis) surveying and monitoring guidelines datasets were created and acquired by Virginia Polytechnic Institute and the cooperating U.S. Geological Survey Virginia Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit in 2012-2013 at no cost to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service as in-kind cooperative support. Actions to open this to competition would result in discontinuity of effort and higher costs to the government.
